Honeyed Pears & Arugula Flatbread Recipe

We can’t forget about the magical combination that is made up of pears and honey! These honeyed pear and arugula flatbreads come together quickly and are perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. Add your delicious toppings to naan bread, homemade pizza crust, or any style of flatbread!



Ingredients:

*All measured by the heart and according to one's preferences

- a type of flatbread (e.g. naan, pizza crust, etc.)

- pears, cored and sliced thinly

- pat of butter

- sprinkle of sugar (optional)

- pinch of kosher salt

- a drizzle of Royal Honey (around 2-3 Tablespoons)

- bacon, crumbled

- feta cheese

- arugula


Directions:


1. Combine butter, pears, sugar, salt, and honey in a pan over medium-low heat.


2. Sauté mixture for a few minutes until pears are soft and starting to caramelize.


3. Drizzle olive oil onto flatbread.


4. Sprinkle on pear mixture, bacon, and feta; bake in a 350-degree oven (or toaster oven) for 7-8 minutes until everything is hot and the cheese is melty.


5. Remove from oven and top with arugula. Enjoy!
